Notice is hereby given, the City of Marietta is requesting sealed bids on the below listed item(s) which has/have been determined to be surplus to the needs of the City:
2005 Steco Semi Trailer
2008 International 7400 Trash Truck
1993 International 4900 Trash Truck
2007 Ford E350 Passenger Van
2012 Generac Generator
9 Weedeaters
Wooden Shed
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope on the form provided by the City. Completed bid forms must be delivered to the City Hall by 5:00 P.M. on Friday, September 1st, 2023. On September 5th, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. the bids will be open and read aloud. All items will be sold to the highest bidder upon payment to the City of Marietta in the form of cash, money order or certified check; personal checks or credit cards will bit be accepted. The highest bidder will be given fifteen (15) days from the date notified of their accepted bid to submit payment and take possession of the item(s). If the highest bidder defaults on the bid, the item will be offered to the next highest bidder until the transaction complete. Any bid not properly submitted will be returned to the bidder and will not be considered by the City.
The City reserves the right to reject any bid the City deems unreasonable. All items will be sold “as-is” with no warranty or guarantee.
